*please avoid "buy a vita" or "use another platform" as responses, Im asking advice specifically for psp 1000. PS1, PS2, PSP, Arcade, NDS, 3DS, Wii, Gamecube, Snes, Mega drive, Nintendo 64. Is there a way in the recovery menu of the psp to make things a little better/faster? (I already have my psp on max overclock 333mhz) Emulators: Best way to play NES games on the road is using GB Advance or. Have I set up my emulators wrong? or do I have to deal with this as the way games are emulated on psp?Īre there any other emulators with better performance? I found that these 2 emulators improve a little bit on a PSP 3000 but not by much. The story in Snes9xTYLme is almost similar but it constantly run slow, I tried the "Ignore pallette writes" but it screws up the game completly. In Metroid, I can get some decent frames if I enable 1 auto frameskip, but whenever the screen becomes populated with sprites or particle effects from environment or enemies, the game becomes very very sluggish, almost unplayable. Im testing Metroid Zero Mission on TempGBA and Top Gear 2 on Snes9xTYLme. Specifically Snes9xTYLme Mod 180404 and TempGBA mod both latest releases, the thing is I dont manage to get decent emulation without abysmal frame drops. I recently tried to use some emulators on my PSP 1000 (01g)
